From past few days, the shooting for Dharma Productions’ Raazi was going on in Patiala. But, due to the tense atmosphere following Baba Gurmeet Ram Rahim Singh conviction and sentencing, curfew had been imposed in the city and the team here was holed up the hotel and couldn’t continue with the shooting.

‘Raazi’ is Meghna Gulzar’s directorial venture. The story is about a Kashmiri girl who marries a Pakistani officer (played by Vicky Kaushal) and spies for the Indian Intelligence. The espionage thriller is based on Harinder Sikka’s novel ‘Calling Sehmat’.

“The city is under curfew, so you obviously not shoot,” confirmed Meghna yesterday.
