Road Transport Nitin Gadkari has said during Question Hour that the government would build 26 green expressways in three years and the country’s road infrastructure would be as good as that of the US.
“One will be able to travel from Delhi to Dehradun, Haridwar and Jaipur in two hours, from Delhi to Chandigarh in two and a half hours, Delhi to Amritsar in four hours, Delhi to Katra in six hours, Delhi to Srinagar in eight hours, Delhi to Mumbai in 12 hours and Chennai to Bengaluru in two hours.”
