Sunday Afternoon Shatabdi From Chandigarh To Delhi To Start From October

Travellers in and around Chandigarh have been demanding Shatabdi to run from Chandigarh to Delhi on Sundays too, now their much-awaited wish has been granted. 

Come October, the Shatabdi Express 12046 (Chandigarh to Delhi) will be operational on Sundays too. However, it will remain non-operational on Wednesdays.

Also, Ambala division railway manager Dinesh Kumar revealed the plans to add more trains running between Chandigarh and Ludhiana and Chandigarh and Dappar route. The work on these routes to add more rail tracks is underway and is expected to complete by September, but they will be operational only after the Commission of Railway Safety green signal upon its inspection.
