Pizza lovers travelling Shatabdi and Rajdhani have their dreams come true. They can relish their favourite pizza on wheels.
Passengers just need to pre-order their favourite fast food to their seat online, SMS or phone call, two hours in advance. McDonald’s Sagar Ratna, Domino’s KFC have collaborated with Indian Railways to provide their services to the customers on rail wheels. Other Vendors included are Swiss Foods, Only Alibaba, Haldiram, Bikanerwala, Nirula’s and Pizza Hut.
Passengers from Ludhiana travelling to Delhi by Shatabdi have the option of Domino’s and other restaurants like Gyan Vegetarian at Ludhiana and Baba Fish and Chicken. KFC, McDonald’s are yet to start delivery at stations under Ferozepur division.

- visit www.ecatering.irctc.co.in
- Choose station or enter your PNR number where you want your food delivered
- Select food operator, choose from menu and place order. Pay cash-on-delivery or online.
- OTP received to be verified during delivery
To oder food by phone call
- Call ‘1323’ and place order
- Verify through OTP received via SMS
- Pay with cash-on-delivery
To order food via SMS
- Text ‘MEAL’ followed by PNR number to 139
- Place your order with customer care executive
- Verify through OTP
- Pay with cash-on-delivery
The selected food aggregator will be responsible for delivering the food on time between train halts at a particular station.
In last June, a 45-days trial was run by Indian Railways on Patna Rajdhani, Delhi-Mumbai August Kranti Rajdhani, Pune-Secuderabad Shatabadi and Howrah-Puri Shatabdi.
