A cop named Sunil Sandhu has made a video explaining what motorists can do when charged with hefty challans under the Motor Vehicles (Amendment) Act. The clip features the police officer elaborating on the current traffic penalties and how they can be reduced under certain circumstances.
How to tackle challans?
As per the cop, a vehicle owner has 15 days to pay the challan. Within that duration, if individuals approach the authorities and produce the required documents, they can get away by paying just ₹100. In this case, there will be no need to pay the full amount.
What are people saying?
A lot of happy, relieved people are commenting on this video. They are thanking Sandhu for the information.
