College years are one of the best years of our lives. We are young, carefree and full of life. Not only do these years make us who we are but also it gives us the most wonderful memories to cherish when we are older.

So, over the span of 5 years there are a few places you have to travel to with your friends.Travelling is what makes the bonds stronger and deeper. Without which your degree is basically incomplete.

But let us think a little bit out of the box and ditch our regular traditional places. Places not many people visit but they should before they get crowded.

ANDAMAN ISLANDS

With breathtakingly beautiful coastline, lush green forests and clear starry skies this group of untouched islands is a must visit. Comprising of about 576 islands only a dozen of them are open to tourists. The most famous of them are the Havelock Islands & Ross Island famous for various adventure sports like Paragliding, Snorkeling, Scuba Diving.

How to reach: Via domestic flights from Chennai or Kolkata. Also, Via a 2 night cruise ride from Kolkata is what you can opt for as well.

Minimum Stay: Atleast 5 days to experience this mesmerizing beauty and absorb in the purity of the place.

AULI, Uttarakhand

Always wanted to try skiing on the snow covered mountains? Well, Auli is the place to be. It is the upcoming “skiing” destination for both professionals and novices. This is something we must do while we are young and fit.

How to Reach: Nearest railway stations are that of Rishikesh & Dehradun.

Minimum Stay: 3-4 days including the travelling & site seeing this lesser explored hill station.

Let us look beyond hills for a while. This little city just the perfect combination of serenity & peace away from all the hustle-bustle of the city. The road trip is scenic. Do visit the Raja Seat and those coffee farms to fulfill your caffeine addiction.

How to Reach:  Nearest Railway Station is Mysore. It takes 7 hours by road from Bangalore to Madikeri via Mysore & Hunsur.

Minimum Stay: A 2 day stay is more than enough to visit all the tourist spots and to get that much needed break from the busy lives.

LEH-LADAKH

A fully prepared “Royal Enfield” road trip to LEH is on everybody’s bucket list. So, why not do when we have ample amount of energy and skills! This is an achievement of a lifetime which will transform you. I do not even need to describe the place as you all have an amazing mental picture of it.

How to Reach: You can reach there either by “Manali-Leh Highway” or via “Srinagar”. Also, there are direct flights from Delhi & Chandigarh to Leh.   

Minimum Stay: This could be a road trip of a lifetime. So you need good 5-10 days to visit all the places like Pangong lake, Nubra valley and the monasteries.
