SOUTH KOREA QUIZ CONTEST 2017 With Prizes Worth Rs 3 Lakh | See Participation Details

South Korea government has launched a contest, South Korea Quiz Contest 2017, especially for tricity students to promote tourism to the country majorly known for its manufacturing expertise. 

“To dispel the common myth that South Korea is only a manufacturing hub, we are showcasing its tourism potential by involving the school children,” said Korea Tourism Organisation (India office) Director Jong Sool Kwon.

Indian Princess Suriratna from Ayodhya went to South Korea more than 2,000 years ago and married Korean King Suro to become Queen Heo and 22% of Koreans are descendants of the Princess from Ayodhya.

ABOUT THE SOUTH KOREA QUIZ CONTEST 2017

WHO CAN PARTICIPATE?

The quiz is open for Class 8th to 12th school students of Chandigarh, Mohali, Panchkula and surrounding areas. 

PRIZES

The winner will get a free trip to South Korea for 6 days. The other finalists will also get big supports for travelling to Korea.

Prizes worth Rs 3,00,000 are announced for the winners:

First Position         Free Trip to Korea worth Rs 1,20,000

Second Position   75 % Discounted Trip to Korea worth Rs 90,000

Third Position       50 % Discounted Trip to Korea worth Rs 60,000

Fourth Position    25 % Discounted Trip to Korea worth Rs 30,000

Participation Certificates will be given to all participants.
