Smart City Chandigarh getting smarter every rising sun.
Bringing relief to commuters who have to wait long for their buses to commute around the city, the Chandigarh Transport Undertaking (CTU) is going to bring devise a mechanism to bring the bus information online. With this, all the information regarding the arrival and departure of the buses will be available on the internet and a mobile app. An agreement has been signed between CTU and SGS India Private Limited and Tekia Ingenieros, a Spain based consortium, to implement the intelligent transport system (ITS) in Chandigarh.
With the ITS, the CTU will be able to manage and control its fleet of buses in the city completely online.
