How badly we have wished for an affordable yet luxurious travel option directly between Chandigarh & Gurugram (Gurgaon) (ofcourse our own car is always an option)?
Well, now there’s an app, HiWay, based on the concept of shared cab services. The app provides direct connectivity between Gurugram and Chandigarh and as the company claims at a ‘no profit-no loss concept’.
The service is already available in Chandigarh, while it was launched from Gurugram on Thursday.
Facilities Available in HiWay Cabs
- Wi-Fi
- GPS tracking
- Refreshments like water bottles, cookies, juices, newspapers, magazines
- Mobile charging slots for all passengers inside the car.
- For the safety of the riders, GPS and real time tracking of anyone travelling in the cabs is also available.
Usually, a customer pays around Rs 3,000 to 4,000 for a trip between Chandigarh and Gurugram in a cab. However, if shared, a passenger ought to shell out Rs 900 per seat.
