Railway Recruitment Board initially was known as ‘Railway Service Commission’. In January 1985, it was renamed as Railway Recruitment Board.
The Chandigarh Railway Recruitment Board started its working in the year 1983 from #585, Sector 18—B, Chandigarh. Since May 2015, RRB office is located in railway building at Railway Colony, Near Railway Station, Chandigarh—160002.
Jurisdiction And Its Purview
The Jurisdiction of RRB/Chandigarh for recruitment of the group ‘C’ technical and non-technical categories is as under:
- Headquarter Office, Northern Railway, Baroda House, New Delhi,
- Delhi and Ambala Division of Northern Railway
- Carriage & Wagon Workshop, Jagadhari
- Store Depot of Jagadhari Workshop & Shakurbasti

Each RRB consists of a Chairman, Member Secretary/Deputy Secretary or an Assistant Secretary and non-gazette staff.

Admit Card of RRB NTPC can be downloaded once the link will be activated on the official website. The hall ticket will be available zone-wise on the Regional Recruitment Boards. Date for the download is yet to be announced which will notify to you accordingly.
The date of the exam is not yet announced although tentative exam date has been mentioned which might occur in the months between June to September 2019.

The important documents to be carried at the time of RRB NTPC 2019 exam are given below:

Once the result is announced by RRB it will available at the official website. Candidates can visit the official website and look for the respective result by filling in the log in details used at the time of registration such as registration number and password.

Q1. What is the date of application for NTPC 2019?
Candidates can apply from 1st March 2019 to 31st March 2019.
Q2. Can a candidate in the last year of graduation apply for NTPC 2019 Recruitment?
No, Candidates must possess the prescribed educational qualifications
Q3. Does RRB have negative marking in CBT stage 1 and 2?
Yes, RRB will follow negative marking for incorrect answers in CBTs. I/3 rd marks will be deducted for every wrong answer.
Q4. Will there be normalization of marks?
Yes, RRB will follow normalization at all stages of exam.
Q5. Can one apply for more than one post?
Yes, the aspirants who are eligible for more than one post can apply. They can set their preferences for the said posts they desire to apply for.
Q6. What is the age limit for under graduate level posts in NTPC 2019?
The age limit for 7th CPC Level-2 and 3 (under graduate level posts) as on 01.07.2019 is 18-30 years.

Q8. Can I modify my application form after submission?
Candidates can do necessary changes by using the same email id and mobile number which was used at the time of registration. Else it will not be able to take your modification drive. The RRB opted for, email id and mobile number cannot be changed.
