With the semester approaching its end, IIT Jammu proudly presents Renao’2021, a plethora of exciting events held completely online, to quench your thirst for creativity and entertainment, marked by the theme “Virtually Vivified”. Renao provides the students with opportunities for displaying their talents over a broad spectrum of cultural events pertaining to art, music, drama, dance, literature, film-making, and photography.
Renao features Foto Morphing to challenge and showcase your photoshop skills. We have the ‘Prop’er Reels event to bring out your creativity to use props in your dance moves and give the audience something to love and adore forever. Bring out your inner Geek in Quizzora, get awarded for all those web series you binged in the lockdown!!
“Feel The Beat” and display your moves as the beat changes. Voice the impromptu speech on the spot on a topic with Extempore or Recite the relaxing and resplendent words penned down by your heart in “Lyrics of Heart”. Walk into the arena and “Film-Fight” your opponents. Dive deep into the meditative zentangle art, twist the tangles, and let the patterns unravel. ‘Raise your mic’ in the online solo singing event or thrill others with your instrumental skills through ‘Soul-o Instrumental’. Capture the beauty of portraits where the light ceases to fall. Then we have the Zeal for Reel, a dramatics theme-based reel-making competition giving you the free opportunity to act.
Renao 2021 will be honored to be graced by the esteemed presence of artists like Eliza Sehgal Mohit Duseja Nikihil (also known as Aerreo), Madhav Ginoria, Aniket Chindak Rohan, and Himanshu Besoya. Guest workshops are there to inspire the young minds by their achievements and experiences. Renao aspires to preserve the spirit and zest of the cultural festival in spite of being conducted online in view of the ongoing pandemic, to keep the enthusiasm high and build the legacy.
