Panchkula Deputy Commissioner Mukesh Kumar Ahuja has issued an order allowing opening of barber shops, salons and beauty parlours in the district from Sunday.
In the Standard Operating Procedure (SOP) issued, the opening timings allowed are 9 am to 6.30 pm on all days provided mandatory health and safety requirements are maintained.
Use of hand sanitizers, aprons, face masks, gloves and head covers are mandatory. All equipments, including chairs, are to be sanitised after every use. Persons with fever, cough, cold and throat pain shall not be allowed inside the shops. Disposable towel/paper sheet should be used for each client.
Use of Banquet Halls, Parks Allowed too
Advisory for banquet halls, parks etc has also been issued. According to it, marriage halls can also operate with the maximum 50 guests at any time, however with prior permission from DC office. Thermal scanners are to be used to screen guests before entering the premises. Also, list of attendees is to be mandatorily maintained.
Parks in residential sectors and housing societies are also permitted to be opened from 7 am to 10 am and 3:30 pm to 6:50 pm with conditions.
However, performing yoga, use of the open gym and exercise remain prohibited.
None of the activities are allowed in Containment Zones.
