PU Chandigarh has created a dedicated portal to register online for admissions in BCom in PU campus and colleges affiliated to it.

Total Number of Seats Available: 2310

Reservation in UT colleges: 85% seats reserved for students who passed 12th from Chandigarh & 15% open for general pool.

HOW TO APPLY

STEP 1: GENERATE  CHALLAN, PAY Rs. 500 At SBI

Fill the online ‘Application Form’ on bcomadmissions.puchd.ac.in. Having taken a print of bank slip, you need to deposit Rs 500 fee at any SBI branch, after generation of bank slip. 

Registration Fee [Non-Refundable/ Non-Transferable] :

General Category Rs. 500/-
SC/ST/PwD Category Rs. 250/-

STEP 2: SUBMIT  FORM WITH VALIDATED CHALLAN BY JUNE 20

Candidate should then take a printout of his/her online application form, attach self-attested documents like Class 10 marksheet, Class 12 certificate and marksheet and character certificate.

  • Send them either through registered or speed post to UBS, PU, or submitted by hand at room number 5, UBS, by June 20. 
  • The forms will be received on all days, including Saturdays and Sundays.

HOW TO CALCULATE MARKS

Merit list will be prepared by taking into account:

  • Class 12th
  • 4 Marks each for commerce stream subjects
  • If maths is also studies, extra 4 marks

For instance:

If a student has scored 90% in Class 12 commerce with maths, hi/her percentage will be = 106% (90+3 commerce subjects and maths, extra 4% weightage  for each)

 

As per PU official word,’ No communication will be sent to the candidates for attending the Physical Counselling and all the information/updates will be available on this website.’
