Night Curfew Timings Extended in 9 Worst Covid-affected Districts in Punjab

With the alarming surge in Covid cases in Punjab, (daily covid cases in Punjab cross 2000 mark), Punjab Chief Minister Capt Amarinder Singh has announced two-hours extension in the night curfew time period in nine districts from 9 pm to 5 am, instead of the previous 11 pm to 5 am. These nine districts are Ludhiana, Jalandhar, Patiala, Mohali, Amritsar, Gurdaspur, Hoshiarpur, Kapurthala & Ropar and night curfew timings in these districts will be 9pm to 5 am.

The CM has also hinted stricter curbs and more tough measures over the next couple of days.

He was addressing the media at a function to mark four years of the Congress government in office.
