Amid Covid-19 vaccination drive underway in the country with over 20 lakh beneficiaries being inoculated till now, the Union Ministry of Home Affairs has released new unlock guidelines:
• Cinema halls and theatres to operate with more than 50% people
• Swimming pools can be used by all
• No restriction on inter-state and intra-state movement of people and goods
• Social, religious, sports, entertainment, educational, cultural and religious gatherings have been permitted up to a maximum of 50% of the hall capacity, with a ceiling of 200 persons in closed spaces
• All activities permitted outside containment zones, except a few which will be subject to strict adherence of SOPs
• All types of exhibition halls will be permitted, for which a revised SOP will be issued
• On international air travel, the Ministry of Civil Aviation may take a decision in consultation with MHA
