Massive Landslide on Chandigarh-Shimla Highway Near Dhalli Tunnel

Hours ago today, a massive landslide took place on the Chandigarh-Shimla National Highway. many cars parked on the road have buried under debris. A portion of the hill collapsed and swept away many cars parked on the road.

The incident took place near Dhalli Tunnel which is close to Shimla.

As per reports the traffic in the area has been severely hit. 

More details are awaited.

DSP City, Shimla police said People who were stuck in houses below were rescued, 2-3 empty cars still under debris from landslide. Fortunately no casualties have been reported.
