Shimla, the more we adore the place for its gorgeous beauty, the more we need to cautious especially during and after rain.
After heavy rainfall in last couple of days, there was a landslide in Shimla yesterday. The Shimla-Kalka National Highway caved in near diversion to ISBT where work on construction of ropeway is in progress and vehicular traffic including the buses have been diverted to old bus stand.
With the weekend coming, Chandigarh and places around head to Shimla for a nice rejuvenation. Better postpone your weekend travel plans now. You can expect traffic jams. Though the administration is working on clearing the area as soon as possible.
