Gaana Lager n Barrel co-presented by Carling Club Glasses, a two day festival that brings to the tri city the extravagance and celebration in style! This festival, originated in the tri-city in the year 2015 and successfully concluded its third edition at Aura Vaseela here today.
An avant-garde celebration of music, food, drinks and art- this one of its kind festival in the region has been dedicatedly working towards cultivating festival culture in the region. Spread across two days, it is a weekend getaway that celebrates prolific artists from varied genres like Indie, Folk- fusion, Rap, Rock, Sufi and Bollywood. The festival was also home to a rich variety of scrumptious food specially curated as a pop-up “Hops Bazaar”.
Gaana Lager n Barrel co-presented by Carling club glasses is the brain child of Speed Records, world’s biggest Punjabi music label and EYP Creations, a leading events and talent management house in the region. The primary purpose of this annual festival is to bring out experiential and interactive means of enjoying music coupled with a festival culture.
The first day of the festival saw foot-tapping performances by The Raghu Dixit Project, Millind Gaba, Gurnazar Live, Nissi Band, Bombay Bairaag and DJ Shanon. The day 2 line up looked just as interesting with performances by Bollywood sensation Mohammed Irfan (of Baarish and Dard dillon ke fame), internet sensation Shirley Setia, B Praak, and DJ Sumit Sethi.

The festival brought a mixed bag of experiential activities, offering something for everyone. Apart from music, food and beverage, it also brought hand-made art installations and multiple activities and games like Life Size Beer Pong, Sac Race, Tyre Golf, Scrabble, DIY zone etc where you could re-live your childhood while being soaked in the festive vibe.
