Giani da dhaba- nobody can even imagine going to Shimla or even Kasauli, without having his/her taste-buds tickled by the sumptuous flavours of the chefs at Giani’s.
But, the iconic dhaba known for its rustic flavours has become victim to the recent administrative drive of highway expansion. The reason being the dhaba had encroached much upon the highway. Its major part has been demolished. Not just Giani’s, other eating joints, shops and small hotels have met the same fate.
