Here’s the Truth Behind the Surreal Video Flock of Birds Said to be from Chandigarh-Kalka Road

Viral video of flock of birds flying with the caption ‘Chandigarh-Kalka road… Nature is back to its basics’ is untrue. 

The video has been reposted and shared on Facebook and Twitter since April 9, 2020.

Fact

The video is an old video from Ahmedabad’s River Front posted by The Times of India’s on its YouTube channel on February 12, 2020. 

So, two things:

1. The video is NOT of Chandigarh, but Ahmedabad. 
2. It’s completely unrelated to nationwide lockdown observed since March 24 midnight.

Sorry Chandigarh lovers! But it’s the truth.
