Reaching to one of the five most prestigious Sikh takhts will be much easier.
Soon, flights from Chandigarh Airport will jet to Hazoor Sahib, Nanded through Mumbai. The date is set to be November 15.
The information was shared to the media by Akali Dal General Secretary and MP Prem Singh Chandumajra. The meeting was organized in Rajiv Gandhi Air Bhawan by the civil aviation minister Ashok Gajapati Raju and airline and other officials of the department.
Right now, the journey to Hazoor Sahib is three to four days long. With the air-connectivity via Mumbai, it will be cut short to just three-four hours.
