Navratris begin today, so does the 10-day long Dandiya Utsav at Kalagram in Manimajra, Chandigarh.
The Dandiya festival at Kalagram is the most awaited cultural festival in the region. The vibrant costumes, swinging and swirling on foot-tapping Gujrati folk songs and bollywood songs tweaked with dandiya beats, sumptuous food and traditional craft, the gala event is an extravaganza for everyone in the region that they cannot afford to miss.
This year the Dandiya Utsav is organised by North Zone Cultural Centre, Patiala in collaboration with SBM Pictures Delhi.

Attractive prizes to best dance group daily
Everyday 5 best dandiya dance groups from the attendees will be chosen by the judges and they will be given attractive prizes. On the tenth day, on Dussehra (30 sept. 2017), at the finale, the 45 dance groups will dance simultaneously and the best group will be given a bumper prize.
