After robbery in Mohali Punjab National bank in broad daylight, another has come to light within less than 24 hours in Tricity. This time miscreants robbed Union Bank of India ATM in Kishangarh, Chandigarh.
On Wednesday night at around 8.30pm, unidentified man, with face covered, entered the ATM and opened the ATM from rear end. They stole Rs 7.60 lakh cash.
The incident was only known on Thursday morning when the staff noticed that there was no cash in the ATM. The police was informed and they are suspecting inside job as the thieves knew the code to open the machine.
The case has been registered at IT Park Police Station and investigation is underway.
