Bringing relief to movie buffs, who have been missing the good old of watching movies in cinema halls with their gang of friends, here’s a fun solution to their problems – watch movies sitting in your cars!
COVID-19 has forced us to adapt to new ways of life and this definitely seems to be ‘new normal’ solution. ‘Drive-in cinema’ has been brought in tricity by Sunset Cinema Club that has introduced the concept in other Indian cities like Delhi, Pune, Bangalore, too.
Details of SCC Drive-In at Piccadilia, Chandigarh:
• Location: Mullanpur-Kurali road
• Cost of ticket: ₹1180 per car with 4 occupants inside.
• Entry only to those mandatorily carrying masks and hand sanitizers.
• Movie Sound will be heard inside the car via car radio
• Shows date: Weekends only – starting from 23 January & 24 January, 2021;
• Shows timings: 7.30 pm; entry at 7pm so that people have ample time to park their cars
• First-come, first-served parking slots.
• No outside food allowed. Beverages and snacks stall inside.
