Chandigarh | PEC Alumnus Develops App That Compares Ola, Uber Cab Fares

What do you do when you book a cab only to find that you could have get from another app with much lesser fare? Irritated, sickened, you try to cancel the former and book new but again what if now if you’re are to pay cancellation charges; what if you won’t get another cab… Booking a cab can get worrisome business.

But not anymore.

A newly developed mobile-based application– Alpha: Cab Compare will now enable users to compare the fares of cab services Ola and Uber. The task of juggling around multiple cab apps for price comparison will help book a cab instantly.

Founders Of The App

The app was developed by Nitin Rawat, a 35-year-old physicist in the US. It is co-founded by Nitin, 33 years, a Senior Equity Advisor at a Chandigarh-based firm.

As per Rawat, Alpha is just like a personal assistant. Their company’s mission is to make users’ life convenient and help them save money and time. They will ensure transparency. This breeds competition, not just concerning prices, but also the quality of service.
