Rising COVID-19 cases in Chandigarh has been keeping Chandigarh administration on its toes. Now, the Chandigarh Health Department has been directed to make special arrangements for the dialysis of corona infected patients in Chandigarh.
Two centres directed
It has directed two city based centres, Dharma Hospital and Rahi Care Dialysis, situated in Sector 15C & 22 C respectively to reserve two Dialysis machines each for corona infected patients.
Price capped
These hospitals/facilities can charge up to Rs 800 over and above the normal charges from Covid-19 patients, in lieu of extra cost that they’ll have to bear for following precautions.

To provide dialysis facilities to COVID positive patients, the Department has formed a WhatsApp group “Dialysis UT Chandigarh” where both these clinics are required to share the availability of dialysis bed facilities in their premises on a daily basis.
