Chandigarh Admn Decides on Ending Containment of Sectors 38, 52 & Shastri Market

Chandigarh UT Administrator has approved end of containment operations in Sector 38 from May 27; Sector 52 from May 28 and for Shastri Market in Manimajra containment will end on May 31. 

As required by government of India’s guidelines, the areas completes the condition of statutory 28 days from the detection of last positive case.

The screening, surveillance and strict monitoring of the health of the residents will be continued.

Chandigarh Administration had declared six areas in the city as containment zones. With this decision only three areas – parts of Sector 30 B; Kachi colony in Dhanas; Bapu Dham Colony and Shastri nagar in Mani Majra will now be containment zones.
