In accordance with the guidelines issued by Union Home Ministry for Unlock 2.0, Chandigarh administration has issued orders for the UT too.
The new guidelines will come into effect from tomorrow and which will remain effective till July 31, 2020.
The new curfew timings are from 10 pm to 5 am, increased by an hour now. Earlier it was from 9 pm to 5 am.
During the night curfew, movement of individuals will remain strictly prohibited except for essential activities, including operation of industrial units in multiple shifts, movement of persons and goods on national and state highways, loading and unloading of cargo and travel of persons to their destinations after disembarking from buses, trains and airplanes.
The schools, colleges and coaching institutions will remain closed till July 31.
Cinema halls, gyms, swimming pools, entertainment parks, theatres, bars, auditoriums, assembly halls and similar places will continue to remain closed
There will be no restriction on inter-state and intra-state movement of persons and goods. No separate permission/approval/e-permit will be required for such movement.

On other issues for relaxations, final call will be taken in a day by the UT Administration.
