CBSE Announced No to NEET Syllabus Change in 2018

Clearing the air of all doubts and speculations, the Central Board of Secondary Education(CBSE) has notified that there will be no change in the National Eligibility Cum Entrance Test (NEET) syllabus from last year.

The official word came from the NEET website. The notification says,”The syllabus of NEET (UG), 2018 will be exactly same as it was for NEET (UG), 2017. There is no change in the syllabus for NEET (UG), 2018.”

What had led to the confusion was the statements by the HRD Minister which said that the Centre has decided to take into consideration the curricula of all the state boards while framing examination papers for NEET from this year. This created panic among the students and parents fearing last minute changes in the NEET syllabus.

The news has brought a sigh of relief amongst students. One NEET aspirant shared her vies saying, “It is a great news as this had added to the stress levels of the already tensed examinees. We can now focus on the existing syllabus and prepare with full concentration.”
