The judge who convicted Dera Sacha Sauda chief, Baba Gurmeet Ram Rahim Singh of raping two sadhvis and sentenced him to 20 years of imprisonment has been now given Z-plus security.
He and his family will have a total of 55 policemen, including 10 NSG commondos, for their security round the clock.
The judge and his family had been intimidated and receiving threats from Dera chief followers.
What is Z + security?
The Z+ level of security is provided by National Security Guard commandos. They are armed with Heckler & Koch MP5 submachine guns and modern communication equipment, and each member of the team is adept in martial arts and unarmed combat skills.
Hats off to the man who did not buckle-up given the immense political and public pressure to acquit the Dera chief!
