Well, now there’s an app, HiWay based on the concept of shared cab services. The app provides direct connectivity between Gurugram and Chandigarh and as the company claims at a ‘no profit-no loss concept’.

The service is already available in Chandigarh, while it was launched from Gurugram on Thursday.

Facilities Available in HiWay Cabs

  • Wi-Fi
  • GPS tracking
  • Refreshments like water bottles, cookies, juices, newspapers, magazines
  • Mobile charging slots for all passengers inside the car.
  • For the safety of the riders, GPS and real time tracking of anyone travelling in the cabs is also available.

Usually, a customer pays around Rs 3,000 to 4,000 for a trip between Chandigarh and Gurugram in a cab. However, if shared, a passenger ought to shell out Rs 900 per seat.
